and preach the gospel to every creature (NKJV). As a Christian, following this commandment has little to do with personal desire and everything to do with obedience. Of course, there are times when you will feel the desire to sacrifice something to please Me or to do something difficult just because you love Me. However, more often than not, your obedience stems from a firm, simple belief in your love for Me, rather than from feelings of desire. Preaching the gospel shouldnt be based on how you feel; thats not essential when it comes to giving My message. What is essential is obedience to Me. And your obedience is your manifestation of your love for the lost and for Me. Your obedience is what I measure your heart by. And if you're obeying My call to preach the gospel, whether you feel like doing it or not, then you are doing a great work for Me. Your obedience to My call is what makes you a great Christian. Your obedience to just say yes to Meeven when your desire is pointed in the other directionis what will give you the strength, grace, and love to do what I may ask of you. And the more you obey Me, the greater will be the strength, grace, compassion, and love that I give you.
