*According to the definition given by (Anthony 1963: 63-67, cited in Rodgers & Richards 2001:19) An approach is a set of correlative assumptions dealing with the nature of language teaching and learning. An approach is axiomatic. It describes the nature of the subject matter to be taught Based on the definition above... an approach is a set of learning and teaching principles that are based on assumptions and beliefs which belong or are connected to theories of language learning and the nature of language, because of that an approach is axiomatic.

How can these benefits be achieved in your language classroom? In the content teachers are able to introduce material that will be helpful for students t brainstorm, for example recordings of conversation, transcripts of it and some other material. Deciding the kind of material you are going to us can be based on the needs analysis of them to cover all the aspects you want, for example pronunciation, interaction of grammar problems. When you are teaching a language there is a high possibility of facing variations with your students, I think this cannot e avoided but it might change the process of teaching by considering those variations and face them. There are activities that helps us to make them increase their knowledge and understand better what they are asked to do.
