RESOLUTION BESTOWING COMMENDATION TO MS. MARY ROSE PUJANES FOR BEING CROWNED AS THE MUTYA NG BATANGAN 2011 IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan recognizes the group of persons or individual who made a prestigious and valuable contribution to the municipality of Sto. Tomas, Batangas; WHEREAS, the Mutya ng Batangan 2011 is one of the activity spearheaded by our provincial Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, Vice-Governor Mark Leviste and the government officials of Calaca Batangas to showcase the confidence and creative abilities and the beauties of the Batangueos from different towns of the province; WHEREAS, the representative of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Ms. Mary Rose Pujanes, our Miss Mahaguyog 2011, is one of the candidates of Mutya ng Batangan 2011 who bested the other 25 beautiful contender to beat out for the title; WHEREAS, Ms. Mary Rose Pujanes, 19 years old, won the crown as the Mutya ng Batangan 2011 and bagged also some special awards such as Ms. Startoll and Ms. Moringa during the pageant night on December 03, 2011 at Calaca Batangas; WHEREAS, it is but proper and fitting to bestow a commendation to our constituent, Ms. Mary Rose Pujanes for being crowned as the Mutya ng Batangan 2011 and who gave an honor to represent our town; NOW THEREFORE, I move for the immediate approval of this resolution
