    What is atmosphere?
    The multi-layered gaseous envelope surrounding the planet earth is called atmosphere. Its divided into 5 distinct layers> i)Troposphere ii)Stratosphere iii)Mesosphere iv)Ionosphere v)Exosphere Atmosphere filters sunlight reaching the earth, affects the climate and a reservoir of several elements which are essential for life.

    What is air?
    Air is a mixture of gases which supports life on earth. Its constituents are Nitrogen,Oxygen,Argon,Carbon dioxide ;other gases such as hydrogen,helium ,etc and moisture, dust particles.

    What causes the movement of air?


    The major cause for movement in air is difference in pressure in different latitudes of the world. The other causes of air movement are change in local pressure, change in the temperature of water bodies, and because of change in temperature of land .

    Air pollution around us


    What is air pollution?????? Air pollution is the addition of air pollutants such as particulate matter, gases and vapour in the atmosphere that have an adverse effect on the humans, animals, vegetation and human assets.
