    Prior to Hospitalization

    During Hospitalization

    Analysis and Interpretation -Perceived susceptibility ranges from being afraid or completely denying that behaviour will result in illness. (Kozier, 2007 Fundamental of Nursing 7th ed.)

    Health Perception and -The client stopped -client had stopped Health Management drinking alcoholic drinking alcoholic Pattern beverages (ie.San Mig beverages. Light or Red horse) last 2011. Before client drinks at least once a week. 2-4 bottles a week/ 750ml (Started at 25 y/o) -clients stopped smoking last 2008. Before, he smokes approximately 5 sticks of cigarettes everyday. 6 pack years, (started at 25 y/o) -client takes a bath twice a day and brushes his teeth atleast 2x a day. -client had stopped smoking

    -client is unable to take a bath due to being hospitalized.

Al., Fundamentals of nursing, Concepts, Process, and Practice: 7th ed.,p698) Interpretation: The patient practices normal hygienic practices for his age but due to limitations brought about by being hospitalized, he was not able maintain a healthy hygiene like the usual
