My thought towards Muar and Muarians: Muar is a ageing town where people it tells the story of the typical riverside township, since the Malayan Era. The medium pace of lifestyle and having eateries, bazaar, and various leisure spots for the people makes the town sociable place to live in. The town preserves the architectural language since the the 1900s. In the later part of the development, within the 1980s, the buildings were kept with the vibrant, painted zones (there was the blue, yellow, orange, white, pink zones and etc), creating a cheerful ambience to the peaceful town. The industries of Muar has a range of variations with export grade, making their citizens the average happy folks. Lately, the local cuisines of Muar brings more visiting tourist for its unique Glutton Adventure. Muarians with their political awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity makes their ideas stand out among the Malaysians from the Peninsular island. In short, we see Muar as a warm, tranquil, busy and exciting town.
