If our community wanted to help build our garden bigger and stronger, we could continue to learn how to love and feed ourselves the right food.
JOASHIA LANE, 6TH Grade Student, Clara Barton School No. 2
Rochester Roots is a non-profit organization committed to the creation of school and community garden-based educational programs for youth and adults. Our programs focus on growing, preparing and marketing high quality, safe and affordable, healthy food.
We are seeking to deepen our relationship with the community to support our mission. We invite you to get to know us better. We believe that in focusing on the wellbeing of the youth and their families, we will not only increase their quality of life, but also the quality of life in our neighborhoods and community.
Your donation will support our unique programs. Generosity is what keeps us going and growing. From seeds to tools, gardens to markets, plants to products, and interns to apprentices your kind contribution makes you a partner in growing our youth and community. Thank you for your consideration, Staff Jan McDonald, Executive Director Sue Mihalyi, Administrator Board Don Adair, Maryann McCabe, Charle Moore, Ray Niedziela, & Uwe Unrath
