Thank you: Mrs. Berry, Mrs. Climacosa, Mr. de Boo, Mrs. Iijima, Mrs. Kurihara, Mr. Mosaku and Mr. Thicksten for your help on the field trip. The students did well in your groups and we appreciate your willingness to be a part of the day. This week we will continue with our flight unit in science. We have started our partner work on the explorer project in Social posts for reading as well as for ISP. If this is a problem, please let me know.

Studies. Your child will continue to need access to a computer at home in order to do blog

Christmas Party We will have the 5th grade Christmas party on Friday, Dec. 14th from 11.45-1.45. We will eat lunch together in the classroom so please make sure your child brings a packed lunch on this day. I will send a list of what each child will bring as a treat to share with others. If you would like to help, please let me know.

ISP Notice We had good success brainstorming and setting up a tentative outline and bibliography. This week your child should be starting research on her/his topic and taking notes on note cards. Please make sure you child uses cards rather than sheets of paper for notes. They can use the larger 3 x 5 cards or smaller word cards.
