My name is Lucas Palmer, and I am a freshman at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

I come from a small town named Siler City which is in the center of the state, and approximately two and a half hours away from Charlotte. I am a wrestler, as well as a racer. I have won numerous tournaments and matches, with my career record being 117-32. Writing has never been one of my favorite activities, although I am a published author. Some of my strengths in writing include; being able to make the paper flow smoothly, a wide knowledge of numerous topics, knowing many great writing techniques. Some things I would like to work on are planning my paper, and improving my closing paragraph. Instead of planning I usually just begin writing which sometimes affects the quality of my writing. My goals for this semester are to maintain an A average in all five of my classes as well as become more organized. I hope to learn many new techniques and grow in my writing throughout this semester.
