Nachi SA series Robot

Delivering large payloads, the Nachi SA series

combines force with precision. These large robots
combine a wide work envelope with big lifting power
to perform some of the toughest applications.

Nachi MV series Robot

Advanced acceleration allows the Nachi MV

series line of dedicated arc welding robots to
reduce cycle time. Offering a total solution for arc
welding needs, this line of robots can be easily
installed onto your factory floor.

Nachi VS series Robot

Small, yet powerful, the Nachi VS series are

compact precision robots. With improved cycle
time and fast axis speeds, these small robots are
able to easily complete high-performance small
part handling.
Nachi SC series
The space-saving Nachi SC series features high-
performance robot arms with minimal footprints. These
versatile machines are used for a variety of applications
including welding, handling, and assembly.

\Nachi SC50F Robot

The Nachi SC50F offers high speed for

greater productivity combined with its
space-saving design. The SC50F will
improve any arc welding, handling
material, or process application.
Agricultural Robot Pest Controller

By:Michael Crichton (1985)

At the start of the movie Runaway, Jack Ramsay and his new partner are called
in to work with an agricultural robot that is out of control and zigzagging around in
a corn field.

He gets the lowdown from his staff.

"What's the model? 7799 agricultural?"

"Got yourself a runaway, Jack?"

"...pest controller. The CPU is an old 8088."

"Any armament?"

"Just the claw. And it's only programmed to look for things smaller than an
inch."

This movie agro-bot (or just agbot) has a very nicely programmed sense of
touch; it can pick a larva off a leaf easily.

It turns out that Crichton or his special effects guys must have been paying
attention to the robotics news. The first intelligent agricultural robot (as opposed
to farm machinery) was tested in use for tomato harvesting in Tampa, Florida in
1983.
