    Old Testament Qahal New Testament Ekklesia A group of people or a community gathered by God An assembly convoked by God A faith assembly where the root cause is Gods call to all to share in His divine goodness and love in Christ God is the ever present source and ground for the Church The community of men and women, who united in Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit, press onwards the Kingdom of the Father and are bearers of a message of salvation intended for SALVATION (Guardian est spes 1 or GS1) both means Assembly of God or People of God

    THE NATURE OF THE CHURCH

    1. The Church as MYSTERY - Mysteries on Divine Truths o That are hidden in God and which can never be known unless they are revealed by God Himself and which we will never be able to fully understand because of: The limitations of our intelligence And their INEXHAUSTIBLE RICHNESS o It is not something we CANNOT KNOW OR UNDERSTAND but a REALITY we can never FULLY GRASP because there is MORE TO LEARN

    You will only be able to understand and explain in FAITH in the Light of Christ
