IN SUMMERS THE HEATING EFFECT WILL BE LOW, AS THE SITE IS SLOPING TOWARDS THE LAKE. AS THERE IS NOT MUCH OF BUILT UP AREAS SURROUNDING THE SITE AND ALSO SINCE SITE IS SLOPING, WIND VELOCITY IS HIGH.

HUMIDITY :
THE SITE IS 5% MORE HUMID THAN PUNE AS IT IS AROUND THE MANAS LAKE. SINCE WATER BODIES ABSORB MUCH HEAT DURING THE DAY AND REDIATE IT AT NIGHT, THE SAME WILL HAPPEN OVER SITE.

Description:
The orientation of building is done in such a way that maximum air can be invited in the site by keeping the major chunk of central open land. Orientation of buildings give better wind flow direction. Sewage treatment plant is placed at the extreme bottom left corner which will take the foul air outside the site area. Eco efficient elements are taken into consideration like sewage treatment plant, vermi culture plant, solar panel, bamboo is used in the landscape.
