e-WOOF is a bi-monthly e-newsletter produced by a small group of Wyoming dog rescuers in an effort to highlight shelter dogs in critical need of help. e-WOOF spotlights many dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted.
Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to email lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

I am looking for a new home with an active family. Im neutered, have a current a rabies vaccination, and as you can see, Im very good looking! I like people and other dogs. I like having a good time and I enjoy going for a walk. Im a fun-loving guy who would be a great running partner as well. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/ or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. She will make an excellent working dog--she would love to have a job to do! She would also be a wonderful pet for an owner who enjoys getting outside and exercising. BOGIE is a 1 year old Catahoula Leopard dog and Rottweiler mix.
He is very unique looking and I fell in love with him the first time I saw him. He is well mannered, walks nicely on a leash, and is very attentive to whoever is handling him. Bogie likes to stand on top of his dog house so he can keep an eye on whats going on at the shelter. Bogie will be a very loyal and enjoyable companion for someone or a family! SKITTLES

BEULAH is a 4 year old Golder Retriever mix. She is mellow and enjoys the company of another mellow dog, preferably one that will let her be the boss. Her hair was completely matted when we got her so we had to shave her all the way down. Her hair is growning back nicely now and you can tell she feels like a brand new woman! She is a beautiful caramel colored young lady who was surrendered to our shelter not long ago. She was obviously used as a breeder dog and dumped when she no longer proved useful to her previous owners. Tara is very sweet and affectionate and loves to interact with a variety of different people. It has been rumored that she is dog aggressive but she has not shown this alleged side of herself at our shelter. FRISCO. Looking for the perfect house dog? Then Frisco is your

guy! Hes a 4 year old purebred Blue Heeler. Frisco is a small and stout heeler. He actually needs to lose a fair bit of weight. But, he walks well on a leash, is perfectly housetrained, rarely barks, and is great with cats. Frisco would prefer a more liesurely life-style. Hes a home body but would love to accompany you on neighborhood strolls. This dog is nearly maintenance free and will adjust quickly to a new home!

BRIDGER. Handsome and regal Bridger is a senior Chow mix. He is very mannerly and quiet and likes everyone! Bridger makes friends wherever he goes and most people just cant wait to get their hands on his soft, fluffy coat. Bridger is in his golden years, but dont let that stop you from adopting. Hes got a lot to offer by way of companionship. Adopting a senior pet is a rare joy and Bridger is one of the best! ____________

Paws2Help Foundation -- Casper, WY Contact: (307) 215-3034 or paws2help@bresnan.net http://www.paws2helpwy.org LADY: IMMEDIATE TEMPORARY FOSTER NEEDED. Our partner, Altitude Veterinary Hospital referred this dogs human to us, hoping we could help. Ladys dad is in a bad situation, and called Altitude to inquire about euthanasia for Lady as he is having to move out of his home situation this weekend and has no place to keep her and felt that it might be more humane to euthanize her than to take her to a shelter, but his heart is breaking! Her Dad says She is a mixed breed, not sure what kind. She is 7 years old. When I got her she came from an apartment in Chicago so she didnt have much interaction with people or other animals. She is a bit skittish at first but warms up to you after she gets to smell you. She is not used to small dogs or small kids. We have inquired as to how she does with cats and larger dogs. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. Hopefully the foster would only be for a couple of weeks until her dad can find another living situation. Please contact us if you can help save this little girl for her Dad for Christmas! GOLDEE is 5-8 years old, spayed, female golden long haired
Tabby, up to date on shots, complete health check done by Altitude Veterinary Hospital, and has feline herpes but with ongoing treatment of a very reasonably priced supplement, Lysine (cost $30.00 and can last 2 months), put on her food will not infect other cats in the household. It is very important that a cat that has herpes be up to date on their shots to avoid health problems but the feline herpes is not contagious to other household pets or humans. A very simple low cost nutrient supplement keeps the herpes from spreading. We have found that Goldee likes friendly children of all ages and friendly dogs but isnt fond of being in a multi-cat household (another cat would be okay with her). She loves to snuggle on your lap during the day, get scritches under the chin, and sleep in your arms at night.

Wyoming adoptive looking for an older, mature household. Her prior owners had to move to Australia and the flight & quarantine would have been too much for Fluffy. She is a little shy and timid but likes to snuggle on your lap. She likes to laze about in sunbeams and sometimes venture outside in the fresh air but not for long. If the person who would take her has other animals, it would be ok if the animals are of a calm nature. She does well with birds, dogs, and cats as long as they leave her alone. Fluffy does not like young children but would do well with a teenager. ____________

She loves a willing lap to curl up on, doesnt bark, is potty trained; however has some trouble at night but can be crated.
