    Title of Need - Historical Separation (Barbara)

    In 2003 The I was removed from DIIT. Instructional technology was then placed under the supervision of Teaching & Learning / The Regions.

    From that point to present (20032012), educational technology and technical support have operated separately.

    Even though the two offices continued to communicate and collaborate, there was no seamless support for schools, teachers, students, administrators and parents.

    Working together as a team, to manage and support professional development and technical issues, services to the school community can be streamlined and delivered in a more efficient and effective manner.

    Currently, we are proposing to Put the I back into DIIT, by sharing the vision of The School Tech Consultancy Presentation.
