Acquired digital fibrokeratoma

Clinical: Solitary, skin-colored, dome-shaped papules or tall fingerlike protrusions with a hyperkeratosis. Microscopic: Well-circumscribed, domeshaped or narrow elongated papule with marked hyperkeratosis and acanthosis.

The dermal core of an acquired digital fibrokeratoma shows thick, closely intertwined collagen bundles oriented along the vertical axis of the lesion. Between the collagen bundles are numerous capillaries, fibroblasts, and thin elastic fibers.
