For Immediate Release: Loyola University School of Mass Communication Holds 5th Annual Networking Night The Loyola University School of Mass Communication held its 5th annual Networking Night on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Studio A, on the fourth floor of the Communications/Music complex. The event, planned by Professor Valerie Andrewss Strategic Event Planning class and sponsored by WWLTV and Dominic Massa, gave students the opportunity to meet communications professionals based throughout the greater New Orleans area and speak to them about potential internship and job opportunities. Attending organizations included Gambel Comunications, il Stratega, the Office of James Carville, Tales of the Cocktail, Touro Infirmary, Vivid Image Consulting, WWL-TV and Zehnder Communications. Networking Night is always a great event. Students are given a great opportunity to network with some pretty awesome organizations, said Bridget Juelich, Loyola University senior and Networking Night attendee. More than 50 students from four colleges and universities met representatives from Accent on Arrangements/FestivalGals, ASI Federal Credit Union, Community Legal Defense & Services of New Orleans, The Ehrhardt Group, FSC Interactive, Girls on the Run, Green Light New Orleans, Team Happy Foundation, King, Krebs & Jurgens, Pelican Publishing Co. and World Trade Center New Orleans.
