    The metre structure of each shloka is:
    11 - 11 .
    11 - 11 ..
    where the numbers indicate the number of syllables
    and the dashes the relative pause required; a rather
    straightforward metre.
    Also note the recurring tatsaviturvareNyam.h of
    the gAyatri mantra; this is after all a hymn to the Sun!
