RECRUITMENT OF HELPERS & STOREMAN IN HARYANA ROADWAYS
The applications are invited through registered post in the prescribed application form from the
eligible male candidates for the recruitment of Helpers and Storeman in Haryana Roadways on temporary
basis in the scale of 4440-7440+GP 1300/- for 636 vacancies as per details in the table given below:-

1. The vacancies may vary as per actual requirements in the various depots. These vacancies include the backlog of
the reserved categories also.
2. The applicant should not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age on 21.01.2013. Reservation for SC,
BCA,BCB, Ex-Servicemen, Outstanding Sports Persons and handicapped person shall be as per Haryana Govt.
Rules/instructions issued from time to time. The benefit of reservation shall be available only to the domicile
of the State of Haryana.
3. The candidate should have passed an ITI Certificate course in the respective trade.
4. The last date for receipt of duly filled in application forms is 21.01.2013 upto 5.00 PM.
5. No candidate shall be allowed to apply at more than one depot. All the applications of the applicant(s)
applying at more than one depot shall be summarily rejected.
6. The selected candidates shall be liable to serve at any place, whether within or outside the State of Haryana on
being ordered to do so, by the competent authority.
7. The applicant shall clearly write the name of the post on the envelope and send it through registered post to the
office of concerned General Manager of Haryana Roadways on or before the last date i.e. 21.01.2013 (upto
5.00 PM).

The application form alongwith the vacancy details, essential qualification, selection process and other relevant
instructions will be available from 14.12.2012 in the office of the General Managers of Haryana Roadways and also
downloadable at the official website of the department i.e. www.hartrans.gov.in.

h. An applicant should submit one application form only and it should be submitted through
Registered Post to the office of the General Manager of any depot of Haryana Roadways in the
State where he would like to appear for the test. The last/closing date for receipt of application
form is 21.01.2013 (upto 5.00 PM).

i. All the applications of the applicant(s) applying at more than one depot shall be summarily
rejected.

j. The selected candidates shall be liable to serve at any place, whether within or outside the State
of Haryana on being ordered so to do, by the competent authority. In case of any dispute
regarding allocation of depots etc to the selected candidates, decision of the Director General,
State Transport, Haryana shall be final.

l. Candidature of the applicants is provisional which may rejected at any stage of the selection
process or/and before / after the appointment without assigning any reason.

2. Age Limit /i |-i

The applicant shall not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age. Applicants
belonging to SC/BC category shall be given age relaxation as per Haryana Government
Instructions/Rules. For Ex-servicemen applicants relaxation upto continuous military service
added by three years is permissible.

7. Reservation of Posts / i i iii

i) Reservation for SC, BCA,BCB, Ex-Servicemen, Outstanding Sports Persons and handicapped
person shall be as per Haryana Govt. Rules/instructions issued from time to time. The benefit
of reservation shall be available only to the domicile of the State of Haryana.

ii) The dependents of Ex-servicemen (DESM) who fulfil all conditions of qualifications, age etc.
prescribed for post will be considered on merit for the posts reserved for ESM to the extent of
non-availability of suitable ESM candidates. The grand-children (Paternal as well as maternal)
of Freedom Fighters would be considered to the extent mentioned in Haryana Govt. letter No.
22/20/83-3GSIII, dated 26.11.1985 as amended from time to time, if the quota reserved for Ex-
servicemen/DESM or Backward classes, remains unfilled to that extent due to non-availability
of suitable Ex-servicemen or their dependents or non availability of suitable applicants from
backward classes.

iii) ESM/Dependent of Ex-servicemen (DESM) applicants claiming reservation benefit will have to
produce the fresh Eligibility Certificate from the concerned Zila Sainik Board at the time of
interview. Mere Dependent Certificate will not be entertained. ESM applicants should also
produce at the time of interview attested photocopy of Identity Card issued by the concerned
Zila Sainik Board.

8. Application Fee / i i ~

i) The applicants belonging to General category are required to attach a demand draft of `100/- as
application processing fee. The candidates of SC/BC candidates of Haryana only are required to
attach a demand draft of ` 25/- as application processing fee. The demand draft should be
issued by any Nationalized / Scheduled Bank in favour of the Director General, State Transport,
Haryana, Chandigarh. The applicants shall write his name, fathers name, name of the post and
advertisement No. on the backside of the demand draft. The demand draft issued after the date
of advertisement will only be accepted.
