Fr. Rusty Shaughnessy, OFM
have been married for 25 years
and have four children. They
live in Bellevue, WA. They feel
blessed by their collaboration
with Fr. Rusty for the past 15
years facilitating married
couples retreats. The couples
they continue to meet on these
retreats enrich and inspire them
in their own marriage. Richard
is a homebuilder and Karla is a
counselor in private practice.
earned his MA in Theology at St. Marys
Seminary in Baltimore, MD. He was
retreat master here at San Damiano for 7
years before moving on to Sts. Simon
and Jude Parish in Huntington Beach, CA
earlier this year. Fr. Rusty is well loved for
his humor, energy and honesty when
sharing personal stories.
