WEEK # 7 TOP 10 PLAYS OF THE WEEK

1. Team A has a throw-in near the 28 ft mark in the front court with .4 of a
second left in the 4th quarter. The throw-in by A1 strikes the backboard. Prior to
any player touching the ball, the horn sounds to end the game. Since no team had
control of the ball, at the time the horn sounded, the official went to the
possession arrow. As a result, team B was awarded the ball. Is the official
correct?
2. Team A is granted a 60-second timeout. After 20 seconds, team A is ready to
resume play. Official rules that team B must break the huddle and resume play
immediately. Is the official correct?
3. A-1, while airborne. Catches the ball. Seeing that he will land out of
bounds, A-1 orally request a timeout. The official denies the request. Is the
official correct?
4. While A-1’s try is in flight, team A still has team control? Is this
correct?
5. A-1, while dribbling in the backcourt has the ball batted away by B-1 who is
