    SWIRLING BEANIE

    Materials: Vannas Colours Bulky Yarn 1 skein. Needles size 10 Circular 16, double pointed needles size 10 Yarn needle Stitch Marker BERET With size 10 circular needles, cast on 72 sts and join being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker for beg of row. Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 2. Pattern Row 1: *p3, k2tog, k3, kfb* rep *to * to end Pattern Row 2: *p3, k6* rep * to * to end Alternate these two rows until hat measures 5 from beginning Decreases: Row 1: *p1, p2tog, k2tog, k3, kfb* rep * to * to end

    Row 2: *p2tog, k6* rep *to* to end Row 3: *k2tog, k5* rep *to* to end Row 4: *k2tog, k4* rep *to* to end Row 5: *k2tog, k3* rep *to* to end Row 6: *k2tog, k2* rep *to* to end Row 7: *k2tog, k1 * rep *to* to end Row 8: *K2tog; With yarn needle and leaving a long tail, run through remaining stitches and draw up and secure. Weave in all ends.
