The Fiery Furnace

February 17 - February 23, 2013

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the PowerSource Information Center. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

In Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar built a huge golden statue for everyone to worship. Everyone did except three brave men who loved the one true God. The king ordered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to be thrown into a flaming furnace. But when he looked into the fire, he saw four men - Jesus was in the fire with them! They came out of the fire alive, and didnt even smell like smoke! Daniel 3

Father God, Thank you for keeping me safe. Thank you for my parents, teachers, friends and Apostles Ron and Hope. Keep them safe and fill them with your joy. Forgive me when I make bad choices. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I am excited to tell others about You and how great Your love is! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen
