The American multinational bev erage corporation will operate its business under the registered name Cola Piny a Bev erages My anmar Ltd as a joint v enture with the local Piny a Manufacturing Co Ltd. MIC has permitted the company to manufacture non-alcoholic bev erages and purified drinking water. For the first time in more than 60 y ears, Coca-Cola Company has deliv ered the Coca-Cola drink to local customers in Y angon. Production will take place at four factories in Y angon, including the new one in the suburban area of the business capital. The inv estment procedures of the company will be in accordance with the new My anmar Foreign Inv estment Law. The amount of inv estment has not been publicised. Piny as 1 0-product line is marketed under the brand name Max . Most of the company s ingredients are imported from Germany and the United States. The company has 1 3 distribution branches throughout the country .
