Babbling
Babbling: The first stage of language development is known as the
prelinguistic, babbling or cooing stage. During this period, which typically lasts from the age of three to nine months, babies begin to make vowel sounds such as oooooo and aaaaaaa. By five months, infants typically begin to babble and add consonant sounds to their sounds such as ba-baba, ma-ma-ma or da-da-da. These children may babble in the phone to their grandpa or grandma.
One-Word Speech
In this stage, one will be able to notice the English language. This is the stage at which, amongst other things, the child begins to name and label the objects and people around them.
