Writing task-1 These line graphs illustrate changes in employment rates between United States and Japan from March 1993 to March 1999. Firstly, the start point of given two countries really differentiated from each other. It was equal to 3 per cent in Japan, whereas in USA that initial value was approximately 6.8 per cent. Unemployment rates graph of Japan had an increasing character during six year period. On the other hand Americas line graph demonstrated a downward trend. The graph which is related to Japan reached its peak in the interval between 1998 and 1999. Indeed, that period served as point of intersection between United States and Japan. The percentage of work force was equal approximately 5.1 per cent in both countries. The changes in unemployment rates of Eastern country did not have a smooth behavior. For instance, the work force figure suddenly dropped from 4.1% to 3.9% in March 1996. Actually, the graph which shows rate of unemployment in America also did not carry a steady character. Its movement was similar to surges. Nevertheless graphs of those countries had a different behavior action; in the end of period between 1993 and 1999 the unemployment rate between two given states had an identical percentage of workers.
