    Design and Fabrication of Self Rechargeable Electric Vehicle

    Abstract

    The Self Rechargeable Electric Vehicle deals with automobile technology in Mechanical Engineering. Normally the automobiles are made with petrol engines or diesel engines or gas engines. Recently the electric motors are substituted to the engines due to fuel scarcity and to reduce the pollution caused due to fuels. Commonly the distance travelled by the electric vehicle for one recharge is 150 to 200 kilometers with the maximum speed range of 20 to 30 kilometer/hour. The battery in the electric vehicles needs minimum time of 8 hours continuous power supply to complete one recharge. Now a days continuously recharging for 8 hours is not possible. But in our project the process of recharging is made during when the vehicle is in motion when the vehicle moves the battery is recharged according to the speed of the vehicle with less capital.
