October 8, 2012 Dear 4th Grade Families, We are rolling out the iPads and need your help.

We will use iPads to compliment 4th grade units of study. Students will use iPads as learning tools. In order to make this happen clear expectations need to be established and followed. These expectations will be presented and reviewed in the classroom. Please take some time to review them with your child and sign verifying that you and your child understand these guidelines. We appreciate your support.
4th Grade I-Pad Lab Expectations Note: These are not flexible When transporting the I-Pads you must walk. When you are carrying an I-Pad you must use 2 hands at all times. 10 minutes before your time is up we have to clean and close all of the open-programs. When your teacher is teaching, you must keep the cover closed. This way we know you are listening. If your teacher sees that you are on an app that is different from the one you are supposed to be on, your I-Pad will be taken for the remainder of that class. Remember the I-Pad # that you use. It will be the one you use all year. Never download ANYTHING. Dont change the background. _________________________________________________________
