Experiential Learning: An alternative approach to teach poetry in a training room

Abstract: This article introduces Experiential Learning as an alternative approach to teach poetry in training rooms. In this article, Experiential Learning will be elaborated starting with what Experiential Learning is all about followed by a model of Experiential Learning to summarize it. For a concrete and clear explanation of Experiential Learning, the principles involved are then discussed with reference to activities in a designed poetry lesson. This paper ends by illustrating how the model of Experiential Learning works in training rooms with reference to the activities in the poetry lesson. It is hope that through this article, those involved in the teaching field will get some insights on how Experiential Learning can benefit our learners in learning literature.
