    Deficient Knowledge: Disease process r/t chronic smoking, too much exposure to cold environment & stress.

    Predisposing Factors: Cold/Stress Intrinsic Vascular Wall Hyperactivity

    Smoking Released Chemicals

    Associated diseases such as: Scleroderma & Lupus.

    Vasospasm Vasoconstriction Decrease Blood Supply Acute Pain r/t decrease 02 supply to the tissues.

    Tissue Hypoxia

    Initial Discoloration of digits Numbness/tingling of fingers

    Cyanotic Hyperemia

    Arteries dilate slowly Complete stoppage of Arterial spasm

    compensated by: Increase HR Overtime/Chronic >Cold-stimulation test >Nail fold Capillaroscopy >Antinuclear antibodies test >Erythrocytes Sedimentation rate

    Small Vessel/Thickens Farther Vasospasm REYNAUDS DISEASE Risk for Impaired Skin Integrity r/t decrease oxygen & nutrient supply in the Integumentary system.
