Leonard Vincent Lombardo Discusses Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

One of the most famous composers of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart remains popular among modern audiences due to his works such as Requiem, The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, and The Marriage of Figaro, as well as an Academy Award-winning biopic, Amadeus. Born in Austria in 1756, Mozart rose to the top of the Viennese classical school of music and experimented in every musical style of the day. At the age of 17, he became the Assistant Concertmaster to Salzburg Archbishop Hieronymus von Colleredo and wrote symphonies, string quartets, sonatas, operas, and concertos. Dissatisfied with the arrangement, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart traveled Europe, experienced the music of Johannes Sebastian Bach and George Frederic Handel, and befriended contemporary Joseph Haydn. After moving to Vienna, Mozart first received international acclaim in 1782 with the production of Die Entfhrung aus dem Serail. Responsible for numerous other pieces throughout his life, Mozart passed away at the age of 35 in 1791. About the Author: For over a year, Leonard Vincent Lombardo has acted as Chief Executive Officer of Clearette, a disposable electronic-cigarette manufacturer.
