Objective

Spring 2012: Grades First and Second Longfellow Elementary School, Rock Island, IL Winter 2011/2012: Grades Fifth and Sixth Longfellow Elementary School, Rock Island, IL Fall 2011: Grade Four Longfellow Elementary School, Rock Island, IL Spring 2011: Grade Five Franklin Elementary School, Moline, IL This clinical was completed for my education class in which we learned about inclusion. In this particular class there were several students on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities. I learned and observed how teachers are able to make accommodations and include all students.

Other Experience
Number Sense Program Longfellow Elementary School, Rock Island, IL

2011-2012 School Year Selected to be part of group of students who got the opportunity to work directly with a kindergarten class for the entire school year. The purpose of the program was to help kindergarteners gain better number sense through the use of iPads and other activities. Guided by two Augustana professors, Dr. Randy Hengst and Dr. Mike Egan. 2009-Present

Campus/community Involvement
Augustana Women's Softball Leader and role model for the team as a junior and senior Junior year got the award for best offensive player 2012-Present Honorary Member of Chi Omega Gamma Selected out of all other non-associated senior girls to be a member. One of three honorary members. Gave me the opportunity to be more involved in the community with service projects and also more involved on campus with events like Dance Marathon and Relay for Life. 2009-2010 Augustana Women's Cross Country

Professional Associations
November 2012 National Teachers of Mathematics Council- Student member Presented at the NTMC Regional Conference in November 2012 in regards to Number Sense and the apps we created and how they helped the students learn.
