ADMISSION to Ph.D./M.S. (BY RESEARCH) PROGRAMMES JULY 2012

In continuation of the Advertisement for admission to Ph.D/ M.S.(By Research) programmes for July 2012, the following Corrigendum are included in the advertisement released to press on 02.04.2012 and information to the candidates (page 5 under important note). CORRIGENDUM IN THE ADVERTISEMENT Faculty members working in Engineering Colleges / Architecture schools within Tamil Nadu and Regular employees working in the R & D centres which are approved by Anna University, Chennai, Anna University of Technology at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Tirunelveli are eligible to apply under Part-time mode. CORRIGENDUM IN THE INFORMATION TO THE CANDIDATES ON PAGE 5 UNDER IMPORTANT NOTE. EXISTING Candidates seeking admission under Part-time mode from the Organizations/Industries which are not recognized as Research Centres of this University will be rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained. REVISED Candidates seeking admission under Parttime mode from the Organizations/Industries which are recognized as Research Centres of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University of Technology at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Tirunelveli will be considered for admission provided they fulfil other requirements. Application submitted with the consent of the recognized supervisor from recognized departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University of Technology at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Tirunelveli will be considered for admission provided they fulfil other requirements.

Application submitted without the consent of the recognized supervisor from recognized department of this University will be summarily rejected ad no further correspondence will be entertained

Each recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University of Technology at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Tirunelveli shall guide only a maximum of 12 (Ph.D/M.S.(By Research), M.Tech (By Research) FT/PT scholars put together as Supervisor or Joint Supervisor including those scholars who have already registered under their guidance in Anna University, Chennai or Anna University of Technology at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy and Tirunelveli.
