Number Subject Date 051 Setting up Samsung Option Codes May 2010

When replacing a PCB you will be issued with a universal replacement. This replacement PCB needs to be programmed with an infra red controller. Some systems may only have hard wired controllers installed and the infra red controller that came with the unit may be missing. Not all hard wired controllers allow the PCB function to be programmed. It is advised that engineers keep one of the infra red controllers on their vans at all times to ensure that this situation is avoided.

Step One Enter the option set up mode by removing the batteries from the controller. Re-insert the batteries whilst holding down the UP and DOWN arrows. The screen display should be as follows. If not, press MODE.
