URGE New York City to REFORM

1. Risk assessment to climate change impacts planning and design of all projects on the coastal zone. 2. Mandate safe and responsible use of hazardous materials and toxic chemicals. 3. Protect local industrial jobs and businesses. 4. Protect and restore wetlands. 5. Require safe and feasible waterfront access. 6.Currently, the local industry is storing these materials according to the law. It is necessary for us to REFORM that law so that it takes into consideration the increase in occurrence and strength of storms. 7. With the increased protection of hazardous materials, it is less likely that your business will suffer economic loss and more likely that you and of your family will be healthier.
