UNC SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS PLAN FIRST MEETING GREELEY, Colo., Nov. 10, 2011 University of Northern Colorados chapter of Society of Professional Journalists is getting ready their first meeting 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 in room 1065 Candelaria Hall. Were focused on bringing journalists of all sorts together. It is beneficial for all of us, said Parker Cotton, co-president of UNC SPJ. The clubs main focus is to uphold and discuss the First Amendment. They will also be discussing ethics, career possibilities, and responsibilities as journalists. It is a place for UNC students to connect, network, and advance journalism knowledge.
