Baltimore Police Announce Arrest for Double Shooting


BALTIMORE, MD / January 25, 2013- The Baltimore Police Departments Homicide Section announce the arrest of 18 year old Dorrien Allen and 18 year old Tevin Hines in connection to the murder of Michelle Adrian. On January 15, 2013 just before 11 am, officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 3900 block of W. Mulberry St. in the Southwest District. Officers located 17 year old Michelle Adrian suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. An additional victim, a 19 year old male, was located suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. Adrian was transported to an area hospital where she later died from his injuries. Detectives believe this incident was a robbery that turned violent. Detectives credit the police officer who patrols this area as vital in identifying suspect Dorrien Allen. Based on the description of the suspect, the patrolman was able to provide Detectives with the identity of Allen which through the investigation was in fact confirmed as the suspect in this murder investigation. Both are facing numerous charges including 1st and 2nd degree murder, attempted 1st and 2nd degree attempted murder, 1st and 2nd degree assault, as well as various robbery and weapons charges.
