In the tradition of the Lyles family that owned and operated the Lyles Chevrolet dealership for so many decades on N. Main St in High Point, the large American Flag will once again fly in the sky of North High Point at noon on Saturday, Feb. 2 2013.

Don Vuncannon, owner of the Sears Hometown Store of High Point, in collaboration with the heirs of the Lyles family have planned a flag raising ceremony this Saturday, Feb. 2nd. The event will be a celebration and Grand Opening of the new Sears Hometown Store at 1800 N. Main Street from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Hosting the event will be radio personality and DJ, Lora Songster from WMAG 99.50 with a two hour live broadcast.

We also have Dave Nicoletta, owner of Giannos Pizza, located at 1124 Eastchester Drive in High Point, bringing his mobile brick oven truck to pass out free pizza for the crowd in attendance. And beverages will be supplied by the High Point office of North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Company located at 3929 Tinsley Drive, High Point.
