LISTENING
Language Skill Types of Activities Games Songs Jazz chants Listening

Games (Listening and responding): 1. Teacher divides the pupils into groups. Pupils are seated in vertical lines. 2. Teacher explains and demonstrates the game. 3. Teachers calls up a representative from the first group Activity Steps and whisper the message to him/her. 4. The pupil is required to pass the message to his group members. 5. The last member will go to the front and act out the message for the whole class to guess.

Dialogues (Imperatives): 1. Teacher divides pupils into groups. 2. Teacher explains about the activity. 3. Teacher displays a picture with a blank dialogue which Activity Steps shows the character emotion or action. 4. The pupils are required to discuss in their respective groups in the time given. 5. Teacher calls upon a representative from every group to present the dialogue that they have come up with.

READING
Language Skill Types of Activities Re-tell the story Poems Reading

Re-tell the story (Snow White): 1. Teacher tells pupils to read story silently. 2. Teacher read the story aloud. 3. Teacher asks the whole class to read together. Activity Steps 4. Teacher asks Wh-Questions to check on pupils understanding. 5. Teacher asks the pupils to substitutes the adjective in the story. 6. The pupils then need to re-tell their story.

Guided writing Blank filling Free writing

Free writing: 1. Teacher does brainstorming together with the pupils on the topic for the writing. Activity Steps 2. Teacher asks the pupils to write a story that will end with the sentence That was the most wonderful day of my life.
