Introduction
On this vacation, you will see the culture, the history, the government, and you will try foods that the people of Mexico have.

Day 1-History
Today I will take you to the lost city of Chichn Itz. This is one of the largest Mayan cities. You will explore through this city and visit The Kukulcn Pyramid or El Castillo (The Castle). You will learn about a large preColumbian city built by the Mayan civilization.

Day 2- Economy
Today you will visit the national palace in Mexico City. You will learn about the three government branches and how the economy is today. Then you will visit a family in northern Mexico that have plots of land to grow their own crops and you will study them.

Day 3 - Culture
Today you will visit The Tijuana Cultural Center. Today it shows a pre-Hispanic garden called Jardin Caracol which means snail garden. Then you will go to a soccer game where the Mexican team plays and you will talk to the players. Soccer is a popular sport in Mexico and is a great game to watch.

Day 4 - Food
Chocolate is fermented seeds of a cocoa tree that the Aztec and Maya used. You will visit some plantations in eastern Mexico where they grow Cocoa trees. The Chili pepper is usually made in every meal of the day that is why you are going to go to a restaurant and they will feed you a traditional lunch that contains Chili peppers.

Day 5 Join a celebration!

Today you will join in a fiesta and celebrate Da de la Constitucion (Constitution Day) which is on the 5th day in February. You will celebrate this day with the people of Mexico and eat traditional foods and watch this celebration live.
