    -|2|- Underline IMPORTANT FACTS and words.

    -|3|- READ ALL answer choices BEFORE you start


    work on the PROBLEM

    -|4|- 1 Answer is ALWAYS correct!! The ANSWER


    is one of the 4 options.

    -|5|- CROSS OUT all answers you are sure are not
    correct.

    -|6|- WORK backwards – using the ANSWER and


    checking if it makes the problem TRUE.

    -|7|- ESTIMATE: In order to solve problems with


    decimals, fractions or very large numbers
