    Using the PH Meter

    Insert power cable into the power slot in back of machine. Remove the tip from the cap (filled with electrode solution, 3M KCl), rinse in ddH2O. Use the pH 4, 7, and 10 stocks to calibrate. Use the two stocks that are closest to the pH you want. Place tip in first stock until you see S on the display, press standardize. The stock pH number you are using should appear on the display. Rinse tip in ddH2O. Repeat with the second stock. Submerge tip in buffer to get pH reading. Adjust pH with acid or base as needed. Rinse in ddH2O, replace cap, unplug from power source.
