    Re: National Day of Demonstration – Saturday 21 February, 2009

    Dear Colleague

    I am writing to inform you of preliminary arrangements for the Congress National Day of
    Demonstration on Saturday 21 February, 2009.

    We have decided to begin the Congress Campaign with a single demonstration to be held
    in Dublin. The demonstration will take the form of a march commencing at 2pm in
    Parnell Square and will proceed to Merrion Square. While the initial demonstration will
    be held in Dublin we plan, if necessary, to widen the campaign to have further
    demonstrations in regional centres.

    Congress will be co-ordinating this event and we will continue to keep you informed on a
    regular basis.
