Introduction
A solar cell is a device that converts light directly into electricity by the photo voltaic effect. Sometimes the term solar cell is reserved for devices intended specifically to capture energy from sunlight, while the term photovoltaic cell is used when the light is unspecified. Assemblies of cells are used to make solar panels, solar modules, photovoltaic arrays. We know that solar panel statically gives less energy than the movable solar panels. So we use mechanical spring wound clock to move the panel to achieve greater energy than stationary panel.

Construction
In this we use a mechanical spring wound clock to drive the crank mechanism. The clock is directly connected with the crack mechanism and the speed of moving of the crank mechanism is equal to the speed of hour needle of clock. Which is very low and about 7.5 degree rotation in a hour. Now the crank mechanism is connected with the solar panel which is mounted on a shaft and shaft is free to move about clockwise direction and anti clock wise direction.

Working
The main component of the project is the clock, Which eliminate the sensor. The clock has a spring which stores the strain energy. This spring energy is released gradually to the clock hour needle with the help of some gear arrangements which restrict the suddenly energy released from the spring. The rotating motion of hour needle is used to rotate the panel by using of crank mechanism. The rotating panel takes a sun energy and this heat energy is converted into electrical energy which is stored into the battery. The efficiency of this panel is greater than the stationary panel. Its efficiency increases up to 30%.

Advantage
Reduce instaillance cost. Due to no moving parts, there is no wear and tear. Maintenance cost is low. High efficient. High reliability.

Disadvantage
Manually operated for spring wound. It is not sensible due to having no any sensor.
