CAJ: Equipping students to impact the world for Christ

Language Arts: Spelling:

2/4/13

This weeks spelling words end in f or fe when changed into plurals by dropping the f or fe and adding ves: leaves, leaf, loaf, wolves, scarf, wives, shelves, thieves, wife, thief, scarves, shelf, wolf, loaves, interesting, everything, middle, strange, yourself, and alone. Please have your child complete their spelling assignments on Spelling City.

Reading:

This week, students will explore giving book talks in front of the class. Being able to summarize the story and identifying the problem and the major events requires good comprehension skills.

Memory work: Psalm 24: 1-6 The earth is the LORDs, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
