Program Goal: To improve literacy skills and academic achievement of students


by providing students with increased access to up-to-date school
library materials and resources.
Objective 1 of 2: Improve the literacy skills of students served by the Improving Literacy
Through School Libraries program.
Measure 1.1 of 1: The percentage of schools/districts served by Improving Literacy Through
School Libraries that exceed state targets for reading achievement for all students. (Desired
