    HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

    BY REPRESENTATIVES DAZA, SALIMBANGON, LOONG, ACHARON, RAMOS, ALCOVER AND TAADA AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FISH PORT AND COLD STORAGE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAVEZARES, PROVINCE OF NORTHERN SAMAR AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), a fish port and cold storage in the Municipality of Lavezares, Province of Northern Samar. SEC. 2. The PFDA shall formulate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act. SEC. 3. The Secretary of Agriculture shall include in its programs the funding requirements for the establishment of the said fish port. The local government unit concerned shall set aside funds from any available local revenues in an amount deemed appropriate for its operationalization. SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. Approved,
