Laser Printer Is A High Speed Printer Capable Of Printing An Entire Line At One Time. The Fastest Line Printer Is Capable As Many As 3000 Lines Per Minute.

Speed:
Line Printer Is Mostly Associated With The Early Pays Of Computing, But The Technology Is Still In Use. Print Speeds Vary From 600-1200 Pages Per Minute.

Paper (Forms) Folding:


All Line Printers Use Paper Provided As Boxes Of Continuous Fan-Fold Forms Rather Than Cut Sheets.

The Paper Was Usually Perforated So That It Could Easily Be Torn And Used As Cut Sheets If Desired

Disadvantage:
The Basic Disadvantage Of Line Printer Are That It They Cannot Print Graphics, The Print Quality Is Very Low, And They Are Very Noisy.

Current Applications:
This Technology Is Still In Use In A Number Of Applications. It Is Mostly Used In Printing Box Labels, Medium Volume Accounting And Other Large Business Application, Line Printer Still Remain In Use.
