So first things first I started improvising on logic finding electronic and space like instruments/synths. I came across bell noise and bowed electric SFX, which are both a synth, and breathy swells, which is a keyboard sound. I then using the synths and keyboard composed my soundtrack in 3 different tracks. Bell Noise:
Breathy Swells:
I then wanted to make a wah wah sound. This was to signify the electricity generating. So I looked at all the guitar instruments and found a filtered wah bass I recorded 1 note and give the wah wah sound and then I copied and pasted the track several times to keep the wah wah sound running through the sequence.
Next I started making my sound effects track. I wanted to use as many sound effects as possible to make my advert come to life and also for it to make sense to the partially blind. I wanted to find a thunder effect, electricity effect, stampede effect and an explosion effect. First place I looked was the Logic SFX section. This where I found my thunder clap and warp engineering 05.
After Id browsed logic I then looked on the Internet for copyright free sound effects. I found a website called www.freesfx.co.uk.
After my sound effects I started to watch over my video and scripting out my dialogue and writing down what I wanted to say. I then went into a quiet room with no ambient noise. I recorded my voice through a Samson USB easy mic. I found it easy to record my dialogue. All I had to do was change the input and output on my laptop and then create a new audio file on Logic and then press record. This is my finished dialogue:
I then went onto sample editor on Logic and went onto Functions and then clicked on Fade out.
I then wanted to edit my dialogue making it sound more professional and have less distortion. So I went into my audio files Inserts and selected EQs and then Channel EQ
This opened a window that allowed me to change the EQ of the track. I played around with the EQ till I thought my tack sounded professional.
