Animal Run ********************* *******

Chapter 1
Arry the fox was sitting on his soft leather armchair thinking about what that feeling was. It was dark and compelling and nothing warm and inviting. In fact, the only thing that seemed to be inviting was the darkness of it that wanted him to come into its mouth and get howered. No feeling had been like this before. what could it possibly be? Thought Arry. Maybe I could find out If I go on a walk in the snow. Mumbled Arry who was now rising to his feet. But as soon as he opened the door he found the badger family. There was Raymond who was the father and good friend of Arry, Daphne who was the wife of Raymond and the three children (from oldest to youngest)Sean,Tiffany and Chloe. Well, what a surprise to see you all here! Exclaimed Arry. Quite right to be a surprise to you but right now its not so pleasant for us. Dont take it the wrong way though. My family quite likes you but right now we have a problem. Our home is destroyed! sobbed Daphne. Soon the entire badger family was in sobbs. We would like to live in your house for a while if you dont mind. We hope its not too much to ask for but if you dont agree then we understand. We could always ask somebody else.

Raymond gasped between sobs. No! Your family needs help right now!You may stay as long as you like. We can fix up some rooms for all of you!Please stay! Shouted Arry. He was so confident that he could help them that he didnt notice he was shouting. Please dont shout Arry! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your lovely home! Exclaimed Raymond. Anyway, lets go inside and you can tell me what destroyed your house.Said Arry calmly.

chapter 2
We have had heard of attacks made by a wolf but we didnt believe it until we got attacked too. The wolf was vicious and its teeth were on a rampage! There was nothing that we could do. Now we do not have anywhere to live and you are our last resource. Told Mr. Badger I could defeat the wolf if you wanted me too. Said Arry. His voice was calm but brave. In his mind he wanted to be a famous and known for some stunt that he had done. Oh, weve thought of that and we actually wanted you to but we were afraid that you would think that we were weird and getting old. Mrs. Badger replied. There was a small silence for a minute or two. Are you sure you want to do this Arry? Asked Mr. Badger. Im sure.

Arry told him. Then we must go and tell the king to get you ready for a fight. Said Mr. Badger. The journey took place the next day and by nightfall they had made it to the kings castle.

Chapter 3
So we have a volunteer animal knight? Excellent! we need to prepare some armour for...um...its Harry, right? Asked the king. Actually its Arry, but right now I need to ask you something. Replied Arry. Yes! Anything Arry! Exclaimed the king. Can my friends stay here? Their house has been destroyed by the wolf and they have nowhere to stay except my home which is a bit far from here and I am afraid they might run into trouble on the way to my house. Arry explained. It seemed reasonable for the king to let them stay so he did. The Badgers were lucky because they got one of the best suites to stay in for as long as they like. Thank you very much your highness. Said Arry gratified.

Now, lets dress you up in clothes fit for a prince, but more fit for a knight. Said the king smiling a wide smile. The rest of the afternoon was incredibly busy. It was get dress here and eat here and bedroom here and blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah. Nobody could have had a more tiring day ever in their lives. Maybe not even after slaying an unknown monster. Well, tomorrow's the day. Better get ready my will. Thought Arry. After that he slowly dozed off to sleep.

Chapter 4 The trumpets sounded as he went outside all dressed up in armour. Today was the day Arry had to slay the dragon. He made a will already so all his stuff would go to the Badgers.. The king even encouraged it! Today I slay the dragon and at least if I die the sacrifice will be worthy! He shouted to all the people. Why couldnt I just say can somebody else do this? Anybody? Oh, you? Yah you could do it instead of me. Thanks!? Thought Arry. I will now go to the unknown monsters lair! He continued talking to the people with his loud voice and all people followed him until they reached the dragons lair. Everybody froze and then they ran for the hills. Now Arry was all alone. Suddenly an ear piercing roar echoed throughout the land. A dragon emerged from the

cave. Its scales a dark velvet red and its horns and claws as sharp as knives. It had to be a dragon!?!?! Said Arry in a sarcastic voice. But nobody heard him. It was only him and the dragon. here we go! he charged and towards the dragon and the battle began.

chapter 5 They clashed together, one on one. This was probably the hardest battle in history. By nightfall it had ended and Arry won. That night everybody ate a big feast in the castle and slept in peace knowing there would be no danger. But what they didnt know is that the dragon had one hundred eggs which would hatch on the winter solstice. All was safe for now...
