For transportation purposes and assembly on site, Ex e control and distribution units, which consist usually of a combination of several individual devices, must be attached to a frame. R. STAHL Schaltgerte GmbH has developed the 8298 mounting frame system to meet these needs. It is suitable for both 8146 enclosure series (plastic) as well as the 8125 enclosure series (metal). The mounting frame system consists of standard parts which are fastened together using a pin/bolt technique. Carriers and supports, which can be combined as required, are available in several lengths.
